And following on from the last translation, it turned out that the group whose release I redid was about to do another Hakka-ya doujinshi (another BuCap), so I chipped in and did this one too…This i officially a joint release between Yurikai and Yuribou-Scans.
This ones a lot longer and there’s bunny-eared Mihoko in it. I expecially liked Hisa’s explanation of Snow white in the middle…

I’ve hauled myself up from hiding amongst commissions once again because there was something I couldn’t ignore. Since Shijima’s absence from Wings of Yuri, the Saki yuri staples (Vista, Hakka-ya) haven’t been getting that much translator attention so it’s been a shame. This is the new doujin from Hakka-ya and it’s another cute Buchou/Captain (Hisa/Mihoko) scene; it was released at Comiket 78 in August.
I am aware that this has been released by another group (Yurikai) and I fully suport any new fledgling Yuri communities – it is people that take the time and effort like this that make the internet a better place for their respective communities so I applaud you.
However, I was dissatisfied with their translation of the Hakka-ya doujin mainly because it reminded me of when I was starting out in translation. I would have left it as it was but Hakka-ya is the closest that Saki yuri fans are going to get to “real” canon yuri – even including the upcoming (whenever it does) season 2. Since the translation was in fact wrong in places I felt that it was my duty to correct it. So here it is. Please don’t take offense Yurikai-san. In fact, if you read this then you can post this version as a v2 on your site too if you want. I’m also free to help you on any subsequent projects if you’re having any difficulty.
To summarise – it’s a pretty little doujin where Mihoko goes to pick a new swimsuit for the Kazekoshi training camp and Hisa teases her about it (as usual). There are even pseudo-ecchi shenanigans – rare for Hakka-ya.

Because I’ve gotten better I’ve reduced the times and waiting for doujins and the price (slightly). I’ll also do handwritten and blocktext type doujins though these may take longer…
For everyone clamouring to email me now, I know this was already translated by Ryuu no Tamashii.
No disrespect to him, but I wasn’t 100% happy with the product, since the pages were unlevelled and the foreword/omake parts weren’t done, so I’ve redone the translation from the beginning including all the left out parts and levelled the doujin. This is one of my favourite series, so I want to see it done right.

Life and commissions are very hectic at the moment, so free releases are few and far between I’m afraid. I’m going on holiday to Malaysia at the beginning of June and then have a conference, so don’t expect any work to be done in that time either!!

I know it’s been a long time since the last translation, but I haven’t really found anything I really wanted to translate (and I’ve been busy with commissions and such.) I think the second batch of Nanoha 4koma that I translated is brewing over at Raizoo’s site, but in the meantime, have a rather strange offering from the ever trusty circle Jack O’ Lantern.
This one’s a Railgun doujin too, but it was drawn in 2007 – a year before the Index anime and before the Railgun side story existed I think. I think he was a big fan of the novels…
Anyway – like all Jack O’ Lantern doujins, this one contains futanari and in this case – rampaging Kuroko. But then again it wouldn’t be a Railgun doujin without a rampaging Kuroko…

I missed a Railgun only convention in Tokyo because I overslept!! I am so fail. I am definitely going to the Girls Love Festival at the end of March though!!

For those of the uninitiated, in this world, Fate thinks Nanoha is her wife, Nanoha is blissfully unaware of this, Fate hates Subaru, Teana loves Subaru, Caro can’t stop trying to seduce Erio, Chrono and Yuuno have a rather vicious hate-hate relationship and Vivio…well, she’s there too.

I’ve added a couple more Railgun yuri doujinshi to the to do pile, the titles are on the right sidebar. One of them is a Konori-sempai/Kuroko doujinshi which should prove interesting. After that I’ll try to get back onto some futa or something.
In other news, I’m helping out with the translations of the Nanoha the Movie 1st episodes of Ashita wa Docchi da! Nanoha 4koma comics over at Raizoo. When they’re done they’ll probably be dual posted, so I’m at least looking forward to those being translated!
For futa fans I’m currently translating The Comiket 77 book by Kawaraya Honpo (Hana 19 I believe) which features the soaringly popular Bayonetta (who sounds soaringly stupid when you put “sensei” after her name). It’s a commission for Doujin-Moe, so it’ll be posted there when it’s done. Never will you have thought the human body could contain so much warm white liquid…
